"First of all, I would like to pass on that the Resident Manager, Marian at the James Bay Square is doing a great job. She is always abreast of what is going on and will answer any questions you may have.

I wish to express my appreciation for being informed by the 'Welcome Home' leaflets of the events happening where I reside. No one likes change, but all I can see is nothing but great improvements and making my apartment building a place to come home to and enjoy.

Being a business woman, I know that many do not accept change that well. But, all I can say is thank you for keeping me abreast of all the activities. Inconvenience is a small price to pay for progress.

"'FAR ABOVE & BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY OR JOB DESCRIPTION' The elevator was being serviced and the lady could not walk up the flights of stairs to her suite after coming home from the doctor. Marina, the BR, found Mrs. Odnokon on the couch in the lobby and asked her if she needed help. Marina put the call out for anyone in the area that could possible help. Maintenance soon arrived…in fact it was the Maintenance Manager Cameron Glasgow …who carried her up to her suite. A very appreciative tenant who thinks she is blessed to have met 'real earthly angels' in her time of need! "

"Kim: For starters I'd like to say thank YOU very much for all the help/listening you've given me regarding this situation with the paint deposited on my car from the spray painting of the building I live in.Yesterday, 11 Sept I called and spoke to Sherry about the situation and she got Erle Heitzman to call me. He called me, very promptly, and the problem was solved within minutes of our conversation starting!!! I can't say enough about how nice/obliging/helpful (I can't think of enough nice words to discribe him!!!) he was. He was totally understanding and sympathic. I will be taking the car to Bashirs for the work needed this Wed. When I insisted on my paying a portion of the cost of the work he wouldn't hear of it. I must say that Erle is an exemplary person. I am very grateful for his help. He turned a negative situation into a very positive one!!......what a very very nice man he is. I realize now that I should have called Erle regarding this right from the beginning. Initially when I saw that his phone number was a 519 area code I thought it would be someone in Ontario and opted to call the local number which was Steve the fellow in charge of the painting. At some point I did have some dealings (about the paint on the car) with one of the foremen (who at the time I THOUGHT was ERLE!!!)........and this foreman had been very rude to me. This whole mess of course has now been straightened out!!! Erle and I had a bit of good laugh over it!!! Thanks as well to Sherry for listening to me yesterday and getting Erle to call me. I can see now why she sounded so aghast when I said that I thought I had spoken to Erle at some point and he had been rude to me!!!! I don't think Erle would even KNOW how to BE rude!!! Once again I must say that the company doing these balcony renovations does have some exceptional people. Thanks again to Erle Heintzman for all his help and understanding and just for being the great person that he is. Gratefully!!.... "
